Safety Concerns
Families, please report to the school office, not classrooms, when picking up your child from inside the building. Teachers cannot release a student to a parent directly from the classroom. At dismissal, teachers walk their students outside to release to parents. Please wait outside until students are released, so the teacher will know your child is picked up safely. This simple procedure protects your child. Classroom Visits Classroom visits must be prearranged with the classroom teacher. Younger siblings are NOT allowed at school during the school day, including classroom parties. In addition, please remember to check-in with the office before you go to your child's classroom or to the lunch room. After School Program Our school offers an After School Program that runs from 3:45-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Students are given an opportunity to work on homework, get caught up on reading or other academics. Snacks are provided. If you have concerns with the progress of your child's academics and you'd like for your child to attend, please contact your child's teacher for a registration form. Students who are recommended by their teachers to attend will get first priority. |

Dressing for School Please be mindful of changing weather conditions when helping your child dress for school It is important they be allowed to run off energy during recess. Cold Weather Coats, hats, boots and gloves will help children stay warm and dry so they can go back to class comfortable and ready to focus. Students are permitted outside with weather above 20 degrees or at teacher discretion. Please help teachers out in dressing your child in appropriate cold weather attire. |
